Connect your AI assistant

Pick your assistant and follow the steps. You sign in to Design.com once to connect your account.

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)

Open Claude and go to Customize › Connectors.
Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Design.com and paste the Design.com server URL, then click Continue and Add. Keep the recommended sign-in settings.
Click Connect, sign in to Design.com, and click Allow.
In a chat, click + › Connectors and switch Design.com on.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an organisation Owner adds the connector first in Organization settings › Connectors. Members then click Connect in Customize › Connectors.

Free Claude plans can add one custom connector.

Generating, editing, saving, listing and exporting designs need a Design.com account.
Generating logos and some edits use your AI credits.
A design needs to be unlocked before you can export it. If it isn't, you'll get a link to finish it on Design.com.

Frequently asked questions

What can Design.com access?

Only the designs in your Design.com account, and only after you sign in and click Allow. Your assistant then acts as you in your account.

How do I disconnect?

Remove Design.com from your AI assistant's connector or plugin settings. In Claude, go to Customize › Connectors and remove Design.com.

The Design.com tools don't appear

Check that Design.com is switched on for the chat in Claude, or mentioned with @ in ChatGPT, and that you've signed in to Design.com.

I see "access denied" or a sign-in loop

Sign out of Design.com, then connect again from your AI assistant. If it keeps happening, contact us.

I've run out of credits

Logo generation stops until you have credits available again. You can still browse templates.
